...SO, WHAT IS HASHING ANYWAY?

Basically, hashing is a social group for adults (over 21).
It involves some running/walking, beer/beverages, and singing some songs...

When we hash, the hare (whoever's in charge of the trail for the day) lays a trail through road, field, forest, and whatever he or she may choose. The hounds (everyone else) follow the trail, which may be marked with various things like flour, toilet paper, etc., in an attempt to catch the hare. The trail can be simple or challenging - it's all up to the hare. Length also varies, and trails might be anywhere from a 2.5 to 4.5 miles long. Once everyone finishes the trail, we all come together, drink some beer, sing some songs, and enjoy the company of our fellow hashers.
